Manheim North America Update

Due to ongoing public health concerns and the safety of all involved, Manheim is assessing and making changes daily to help our team members and clients during this time. Here are the latest updates:

Status of Location Operations: 

  • Starting June 23, Manheim will begin offering clients the ability to bid and buy in the lanes at select pilot locations. The sale will shift from a Simulcast-only to a Digital Block sale format. Digital Block sales offer in lane bidding with a live auctioneer, however, vehicles will not run through the lanes.   • Effective May 1- Inventory preview is now available at select Manheim locations.
  • Check our location status page for details on current operations and preview availability.
  • If you are planning to preview inventory at a select location it is imperative that you adhere to the safety and compliance measures, and you must complete a Cox COVID-19 Related Access Form.

Digital Support and Solutions: As a reminder, Manheim is still running all sales via our digital channels to serve your buying and selling needs. During this time, we have set up a variety of relief programs, special sales and digital solutions that enable our clients to work safely and efficiently.

  • Due to the closure of DMVs across the country at the onset of COVID-19, Manheim waived title absent fees for sellers who consigned vehicles without a valid title beginning March 17, 2020.  With the reopening of DMVs nationwide, Manheim will be reinstating title absent fees on August 1, 2020.
  • 30-day complimentary trial for new clients to Central Dispatch.
  • Ready Logistics remains “open for business” and has authorization to pick up, transport and drop off vehicles anywhere within the U.S (note we may be limited by the auction, dealership, repo lot or operating status of other locations).
  • Daily MMR Retention values available on to help with vehicle valuations while we are experiencing volatile market conditions.
  • Cox Automotive economic outlook and industry insights updates.
  • RideKleen new surface disinfecting and air cleansing service, PureProtect, available for dealers and fleet operators.
  • Manheim will be waiving the Simulcast Success Fee for both buyers and sellers through December 31, 2020. We will continue to evaluate and communicate any further changes.

COVID-19 Health and Safety Priority: Manheim U.S. has over 76 locations and thousands of team members across the country. There have been a few confirmed COVID-19 cases among team members or their families.
